Gagà Laboratorio, the Swiss-based brand celebrated for its fusion of Italian design heritage and Swiss mechanical mastery, expands their signature Labormatic collection with two new captivating editions: Labormatic Azzurro and Labormatic Champagne.

Each of these editions draw inspiration from a distinct cultural narrative, while retaining the technical excellence and distinctive construction of the Labormatic line. As their names suggest, Labormatic Azzurro features a light blue dial while Labormatic Champagne features a gold dial. Both editions are worn on color-matched straps.

Labormatic Azzuro

The Azzurro model complements the existing Cinquanta edition and adds a fresh chromatic dimension to the series. Its soft blue hue echoes the pastel tones that permeated Italian design during the post-World War II economic boom—an era when optimism, innovation, and creativity shaped everything. More than just a color, Azzurro evokes the spirit of rebirth and cultural vibrancy that characterized Italy in the 1950s and '60s, offering a poetic reinterpretation of an iconic period in the nation’s aesthetic history. It contains a frame-style minutes hand, with minutes marked in vibrant digits.

Labormatic Champagne

On the other hand, Labormatic Champagne stands in bold contrast to the minimalist principles of the existing Bauhaus model. Where Bauhaus is clean, precise, and restrained, Champagne is celebratory, luminous, and expressive. Its warm, radiant tone challenges traditional codes with flair—embodying a more playful and spirited approach to elegance. It offers an effervescent counterbalance that captures the joy and spontaneity suggested by its name. Distinct from Azzurro, the watch hand is in a classic analogue style, while gold lines run out from the central dial, sectioning the minutes.
