Ressence Event May 2026
It was an absolute pleasure to hold a three-day event with Ressence founder Benoît Mintiens to celebrate the release of the type 11.
Here is first glance at the type 11 in Latte, a colour style unique to Ressence’s new series.
The type 11 also comes in sky blue, offering a lighter, somewhat pastel-toned blue that fittingly promotes the contemporary feel of the type 11.
The Type 1 Round “Multicolur” reimagines 21st-century watchmaking with its iconic "pebble" design and vibrant, function-coded dial, where specific colors serve as intuitive guides: green for hours, yellow for seconds, red for the day of the week, and blue for the peripheral minute track.
At closer inspection, we can see the fully-charged power reserve indicated by ceramic balls.
This reflects a direct display of energy in Ressence’s new RW-01 in-house movement introduced in the type 11, with lighter balls emerging as you wind and darker balls taking over as power depletes.
Attendees had the opportunity to try out the new type 11 along with various other pieces from Ressence’s collection.
