Fam al Hut Event May 2026
Joined by Fam al Hut founder Dai, we had a brief yet amazing event at The Lavish Attic surrounded by the brand's visionary creations.
Up close with the Möbius Mark 1 prototype: its bi-axis tourbillon cage rotates endlessly beneath a dramatic double-curved sapphire dome, with retrograde hours and minutes snapping back to zero.
The Mark 0 Machina Solis is the second release from Fam al Hut, where experimental engineering meets the brand's signature avant-garde spirit. Its name translates from Latin as "mechanical sundial," reflecting its astronomical timekeeping concept.
Unlike a conventional wristwatch, the Mark 0 is designed as a pocket watch, necklace piece, or table clock offering dual time displays:
Front dial: Tracks solar time (standard civil time) via a 24-hour ring display
Back dial: Tracks sidereal time — the time measured by Earth's rotation relative to distant stars rather than the Sun — presented through a star chart showing the constellations of the night sky of a set location
This dual-display concept pays tribute to historical Arabic astronomy, aligning with the brand's celestial identity — Fam Al Hut takes its name from the Arabic name for the bright star Fomalhaut
