Singer Reimagined - DualTrack

The chronograph was only the beginning. When Singer Reimagined burst onto the scene in 2017 with the Track1—winning the GPHG Best Chronograph prize and proving that a central chronograph display could actually improve legibility rather than merely complicate it—the watch world understood this was a brand with a methodology, not merely a marketing angle.

Eight years later, that same philosophy arrives in the complication most of us actually use more than a stopwatch: the second time zone. Introducing the DualTrack, Singer Reimagined's first dual-time watch, and arguably the most thoughtfully executed GMT from an independent maker in recent memory.

From Coffee Timing to Continental Living

To understand why the DualTrack matters, consider its architect. Marco Borraccino isn't a desk-bound designer theorizing about travel; he's a Geneva-based CEO with business partners in Los Angeles, clients in New York, and family connections that span continents. Dual time isn't a marketing theme for Singer—it's the daily reality that spawned the question: if this complication is about human connection across distance, why do most GMT watches make reading that second zone feel like decoding a cipher?

The answer is vintage Singer: redesign around actual use. Local time occupies the dial's center via traditional hands—the here and now, unambiguous and immediate. But the second time zone receives a distinctly Singer treatment: a peripheral 24-hour disc that rotates continuously around the dial's edge, read at the 6 o'clock position consistent with the brand's established design grammar.

The brilliance lies in peripheral vision. Unlike traditional GMT hands that require deliberate focus to locate and interpret, the DualTrack's home time sits always present at the bottom of your field of view. Day or night? Glance down—the 24-hour format makes it immediately obvious whether your London office is sipping morning coffee or closing laptops. No crown-pulling, no hand-aligning, no mental arithmetic.

The Mechanics of Intuition

Singer's partnership with Agenhor has yielded some of contemporary watchmaking's most innovative movements—the AgenGraphe central chronograph among them—but the DualTrack marks a significant evolution: it's powered by the Calibre 4 DT (Dual Time), built upon the proprietary four-barrel architecture Singer introduced with the Caballero line in 2025.

Four barrels. Six days of power reserve. That's not a typo, and it's not merely a headline figure for press releases. In an era when even high-end automatics struggle to deliver a weekend-proof 72 hours, the DualTrack's 144-hour reserve transforms how you actually live with the watch. Travel on Friday, forget to wind until Wednesday, remain perfectly on time for both zones. This is long-range practicality supporting the watch's role as a daily companion rather than occasional statement piece.
