Urwerk Event October 2025

Martin Frei, URWERK’s Art Director and Co-Founder, puts it best:

“Time and Space are the same reality. The UR-10 depicts two characteristics of our earthly condition; to be bound by human time, and to be mere passengers on a planet constantly traveling through the cosmos.”

That duality—the intimate and the infinite—is at the heart of the UR-10.

It was a great honor to welcome URWERK Founder Felix Baumgartner and Sales Director Remy Warluzel to The Lavish Attic, where they presented URWERK’s latest launch—the UR-10 SpaceMeter. The first timepiece designed to measure Earth’s cosmic journey. Each of those three sub-dials acts as a tiny astronomic instrument, tuned to Earth’s movements

1. At 2 o’clock, the counter marked “EARTH” tracks every ten kilometers our planet covers in its daily rotation, updating in precise 500-meter increments—a subtle reminder of how fast we’re spinning, even when we feel standing still.

2. At 4 o’clock, the “SUN” counter advances in 20-kilometer steps, logging every 1,000 kilometers Earth travels as it orbits our star, a nod to the annual journey that shapes our seasons and years.

3. And at 9 o’clock, the “ORBIT” dial weaves these two trajectories together, syncing two scales to inscribe both: 1,000 kilometers of rotation and 64,000 kilometers of solar orbit, side by side, in one seamless display.

Additionally, other models such as the recently released UR-150 Scorpion and the astronomical models of UR-100v were also available for attendees to try on at the event.

Thanks again to Felix Baumgartner and Remy Warluzel for sharing watchmaking insights, journey stories, and the inspiration behind the UR-10 SpaceMeter—letting us feel, wear and experience this cosmic timepiece up close.
